All I can I say about this Vineyard is wow, on the lower end of the Sonoma Valley , gently sloping on the eastern slopes of the valley, this vineyard produces some of the finest Syrah fruit in the valley. One of the unique things that drove us to select this vineyard, is the planting in individual blocks of the different clones. Clones 877, Shiraz 1, Hermitage , Beaucastle and 174. Each year we will plan on varying the balance based on how we see the vineyard maturing at harvest time. Combining fruit from these blocks creates greater complexity in the finished wine.
